Teambuilding gets a boost at The Wessex Conference Centre

Although The Wessex Conference Centre has run teambuilding events in the past, the activities on offer were limited. We have had a large number of enquiries however, which prompted us to consider ways of making more activities available to our clients and, after a lot of hard work, we are delighted that we are now able to offer an extended range of teambuilding options to our clients
Teambuilding is an great way for companies to get their staff to talk to each other and learn how to use each others strengths for the good of the team. It is also an excellent morale booster and a perfect method of honing business skills, such as communication, planning and problem solving, outside of the classroom. "So whether our clients want to treat their staff to a fun day out, or are looking for less formal staff development, we have something to suit everyone," Sue said.
She went on to say, "In addition to the activity a client chooses, teambuilding delegates will also enjoy the warm hospitality of The Wessex Conference Centre staff, who will oversee all the venue arrangements and take care ofmeals and refreshments on the day." For teambuilding sessions over a period of days, clients will be offered accommodation in Westley Court, while larger groups can use the College's Halls of Residence during vacation time.
"We believe in being flexible in meeting the requirements of our clients and have chosen to work alongside two professional teambuilding companies, Off Limits Corporate Events and Quest TGO Ltd, to help us maintain this standard." says Sue, "Both businesses are able to cater for any size of group and can provide team building solutions from ice breakers to events that run over a number of hours or even days, if required. " Both indoor and outdoor activities are available, all of which have been risk assessed by the providers and will be carried out under the watchful eye of experienced staff. Both companies are fully insured.
The Wessex Conference Centre stands to receive income from the two providers through the referral of enquiries and from the business that both companies will be bringing to us, which is great news! It will mean that you may catch glimpses of Westley Court guests wearing ‘It's a knockout' costumes, but its all for the greater good of The Wessex Conference Centre and the College!
