Conference Aston Celebrate a Hatrick with RHUBARB RHUBARB

One of Birmingham's leading conference centres will be welcoming an array of international photographers and reviewers this summer.
Conference Aston will be hosting Rhubarb Rhubarb's 2010 International Review from July 20-August 1, which is the third time the venue has hosted the event. Rhubarb Rhubarb is an internationally renowned Development Agency for image makers and photographers using new and old media.
The portfolio review, entitled ‘Collision - Where Image Worlds Meet' brings together photographers with reviewers from respected photo agencies, galleries and commercial agencies in the UK, Europe and the USA.
Lorna-Mary Webb from Rhubarb Rhubarb said the three day event was a chance for photographers to showcase their work with a view to securing commissions and exhibitions with some of the best magazines, agencies and galleries in the world.
"We are delighted to bring the International Review to Birmingham once again and to continue our very successful partnership with Conference Aston," she said.
"The portfolio review is so successful because it allows photographers to pre-book 20 minute slots with reviewers to get quality feedback on their photography and hopefully the prospect of further work.
"Conference Aston is the ideal environment to carry out the reviews, not just because of its central location and contemporary, vibrant environment, but also because of the flexibility and the high level of customer service the centre's staff offer."
Christine Page, head of sales and marketing for Conference Aston said the partnership with Rhubarb Rhubarb was a great example of how Conference Aston retained and maintained relationships with clients.
