David Duncan supports new developments at the University of York
June 2010
The University of York has officially appointed David Duncan as their new ‘Registrar and Secretary', to whom York Conferences and Commercial Services will directly report.
Having previously held the post of Secretary of the University of Dundee, David took on the role in January and has settled into the University of York.
David says, "The University of York already offers excellent facilities for conferences of all sizes, and the new buildings which will open in the summer of 2010 will make it a matchless conference venue for national and international events. I very much look forward to working with York Conferences to exploiting those facilities to the full and to attracting more business to the City of York over the coming years".
David is now the University's fifth Registrar and Secretary since its foundation in 1963 and York Conferences look forward to working with David and Jon Greenwood (Director of Commercial Services) to make the best use of new developments on Heslington East. The facilities opening at the end of this summer will be available for use from March 2011 and available to book from September 2010.
