VENUEMASTERS Welcomes Three New Members

VENUEMASTERS, the consortium promoting the facilities available for hire at over 80 UK academic venues is delighted to announce three new members; Ushaw College in Durham, the University of East London (UEL) in Greater London and Number 45 Millbank in Central London.
Ushaw College rests within 400 acres of traditional Durham countryside with 30 acres of immediate gardens and grounds, providing the perfect setting for a conference or event.
Ushaw College offers 11 conference/meeting rooms, a 270 seat theatre, presentation room, internal exhibition space and large grounds capable of hosting a large marquee or crowds of up to 10,000 people. Over 120 bedrooms are available for conferences and groups all year round.
Number 45 Millbank is part of the Chelsea College of Art and Design and located just a stone's throw away from Tate Britain with views south across the Thames. Restored Edwardian interiors in three magnificent rooms offer guests a memorable location in a stunning Grade II listed venue. Guests arriving at Number 45 Millbank enter the grand hall which has an elaborate marble floor and classical columns. The original mahogany staircase takes guests to the three major event spaces on the first floor. Disabled access is also available.
The University of East London's (UEL) stunning modern docklands campus is located adjacent to London City Airport, less then half a mile from the Excel Centre, O2 arena and the Canary Warf financial and business district. The site for the 2012 Olympic Games is located within half a mile of the University's Stratford Campus. UEL provides a fantastic choice of meeting rooms for between eight people in a board room setting up to 250 people year round. During vacation periods UEL has 1,170 en suite bedrooms available for hire to conferences and groups.
