VENUEMASTERS is running a campaign to raise awareness of its Scottish venues and the great rates and facilities they can offer to event organisers. There are four venues in Scotland; two in Edinburgh, one in Dundee and one in St Andrews, with a choice of city centre locations to picturesque campus settings. The venues can offer very competitive delegate rates from just £28 plus other special offers and promotions.
Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh is set in 35 acres of beautiful landscaped grounds and is just a 6 minute journey from Edinburgh Waverley train station. The University has an extensive variety of spaces for year round meetings for up to 150 people, increasing to 250 during the summer vacation. The University's new campus opened in 2007 and is regarded as one of Scotland's most sustainable building projects, winning numerous awards. Edinburgh First can offer facilities across the Scottish capital and its venues are suitable for all types of events from day meetings to residential conferences, corporate events to gala dinners. There are also 2,000 bedrooms available during the summer vacation and 150 year-round bedrooms.
The University of St Andrews offers a world class conference centre, state-of the art meeting rooms and over 1,300 en suite bedrooms. Located in the heart of the historic town of St Andrews, the venue can accommodate small board meetings and training seminars to large prestigious conferences for up to 960. Over 1,300 en suite bedrooms are available during the summer vacation. The events team is now offering something extra if you book your 2014 event with them. The University of Dundee is situated in the city's lively cultural quarter within walking distance of the city centre. Up to 350 delegates can be accommodated year round on a compact and attractive campus, with late 19th Century through to 21st Century architecture, vibrant green spaces and restful gardens. Opened in 2007, the state-of-the-art Dalhousie Building has four tiered lecture theatres, breakout rooms plus large double height spaces ideal for exhibitions, receptions and hospitality.
