Venuemasters welcomes Robinson College

Venuemasters, the marketing consortium representing over 85 academic venues in the UK & Europe, is delighted to announce a new member venue. Robinson College of the University of Cambridge signed up in November to promote its wide range of year round facilities for meetings and events.
Opened in 1981, Robinson College is one of the newest colleges at Cambridge, and over 30 years it has grown in experience and reputation to become one of the leading university conference venues in the UK, offering state-of-the-art audio-visual facilities supported by a team of trained technicians to ensure the best possible performance. They also offer high-quality food from their catering team, so organisers will be safe in the knowledge that the needs of their delegates will be met over the course of their time at Robinson College.
Robinson College is situated on the western edge of Cambridge, just a short walk from the historical centre and is within easy walking or driving distance from the station. It's also within 2 miles (5 minutes) of M11 motorway with dedicated nearby parking that can be booked by organisers. This proximity to the M11 also means that it is certainly accessible from London, and it is also easily reached via the A1, the M1/M6 via the A14, and is a mere 35 minutes from Stanstead Airport.
The facilities include modern, high-spec AV and multi-media equipment, video conferencing facilities and free WiFi access. Their multi-purpose Auditorium offers a space that can hold up to 270 delegates, depending on size of the stage, and they have a variety of smaller meeting and conference rooms that can suit events of many sizes. Accommodation can be provided for up to 270 delegates during vacation times.
